K&M Project Services (K&M) was founded by T. Mitch Thomas, PE, in August 2020, just weeks prior to the devastating Hurricanes Laura and Delta, as a limited liability company in the State of Louisiana specializing in civil and coastal engineering.

K&M was conceived with a vision to provide excellent, efficient, and pragmatic civil/coastal engineering services to both public and private clients throughout Southwest Louisiana and the surrounding areas.

K&M is a licensed engineering firm in both Louisiana and Texas, as well as certified-active as a Small Entrepreneurship with Louisiana Economic Development’s Hudson Initiative and registered as a vendor with the Federal Government.

 Although K&M is a relatively new firm, its employees have over sixty (60) years of combined experience in the civil/coastal engineering and construction fields, having designed and managed projects ranging in size from small, private facilities to large multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.

Throughout the years working in South Louisiana, K&M’s staff have developed excellent working relationships with local landowners and government officials which has proven invaluable during the design/construction of our projects. We pride ourselves on our unrivaled work ethic, along with holding the public and our clients’ needs to the highest importance.
